How should I start the process of getting a tattoo?
To begin your tattoo journey with us, please thoroughly read the information provided on our page. Once you’ve gathered all necessary details, kindly send a direct message to your preferred artist. This allows us to efficiently assist you in bringing your tattoo ideas to life.
What are the rules regarding appointments and walk-ins?
We primarily operate by appointments, but we welcome walk-ins as well. If you happen to pass by and inquire about availability, we’ll do our best to accommodate you if there’s an opening. However, if all artists are booked, we’ll schedule an appointment for you at the earliest convenience.
Are deposits refundable?
No, deposits are non-refundable. This policy ensures our artists’ time and preparation are respected.
Can I reschedule my appointment?
Yes, appointments can be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance. In this case, your deposit will be transferred once to the new appointment.
For specific rules regarding rescheduling during December and January, please refer to the “What is the policy during December and January?” section.
What happens if I cancel more than once?
If you cancel again after rescheduling, your deposit will be forfeited.
What is the policy during December and January?
December and January are peak periods for tattoo artists, with frequent last-minute cancellations that disrupt our schedules. Because of the high demand, rescheduling is allowed, but please note that the original deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit must be paid for the rescheduled appointment. In these months, deposits are non-refundable upon cancellation, regardless of when the cancellation occurs. We kindly ask that you book an appointment during these months only if you are certain of your availability. This helps us manage our time efficiently and ensures all clients receive the best possible experience.
What should I do if I’m running late for my appointment?
If you’re running late to your appointment, please communicate with us as soon as possible. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, we will still charge for the time missed.
Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
Clients may bring one additional person with them to their appointment. However, please limit the number of accompanying guests to one.
Do minors need to be accompanied by a guardian, and what identification is required?
Minors aged 16 or 17 must be accompanied by a guardian and bring valid identification. Additionally, we enforce a no pets or children policy within the studio premises.
Which artist specializes in the style I’m looking for?
Each of our artists has their own specialties and preferences. For example, Khaleesi focuses on intricate linework and ornamental tattoos, while Inky is versatile and can handle a wide range of styles. It’s essential for clients to find an artist whose style aligns with their vision.
Can I engage in sports, vacation, sun exposure, or swimming immediately after their tattoo appointment?
We recommend avoiding activities like sports, sun exposure, and swimming for at least 2.5 weeks after your tattoo appointment to ensure proper healing. While it’s ultimately the client’s decision, exposing a fresh tattoo to these elements can impede the healing process and affect the outcome of the tattoo.
How much will a tattoo cost?
Our pricing is determined by factors like size, detail, and placement of the tattoo. For an accurate quote, we recommend scheduling a consultation with your artist.
Can tattoos be done over scars?
Yes, tattoos can often be done over scars, depending on the type and condition of the scar tissue. However, it’s best for clients to consult with their artist to assess the feasibility and potential challenges of tattooing over scars.
Do you offer cover-up tattoos?
We offer cover-up tattoos when feasible and effective. However, there are instances where we may recommend laser treatment beforehand if we believe it will yield better results.
What are the consequences of not following proper aftercare instructions?
Failing to follow proper aftercare instructions can lead to complications such as infection, scarring, or ink loss. It’s crucial for clients to adhere to the aftercare guidelines provided by their artist to ensure optimal healing and long-term tattoo quality.
Under what circumstances would I not be able to get a tattoo?
There are certain conditions that may prevent clients from getting a tattoo, such as pregnancy, compromised immune system, skin infections, or certain medical conditions. Additionally, if a client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we’ll need to reschedule their appointment for safety reasons.
