DRESSING GUIDE

WITHOUT SECOND SKIN
Traditional Dressing
Follow these steps for best results without a second skin bandage.

Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your tattoo.

Gently clean with lukewarm water and a mild, unscented soap.

Pat dry gently with a clean paper towel. Do not rub.

Apply a thin layer of recommended aftercare balm.

Repeat 2–3 times daily for the first 1–2 weeks.
WITH SECOND SKIN
Adhesive Film
Follow these steps for best results with a second skin adhesive film.

Keep the adhesive film sealed and intact as instructed.

Monitor for lifting, leaks, or irritation around the edges.

Remove as instructed by your artist or when advised.

Gently wash the area and pat dry after removal.

Continue with your artist-recommended aftercare.

HEALING
Know what to watch.

COMMON WHILE HEALING
Mild redness, tenderness, itching or a small amount of clear fluid.
These can be part of normal healing. Surface healing often takes several weeks and varies with size, design and placement.

SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE
Severe pain, spreading redness, heat, pus or fever.
These can be signs of an infection. Contact a healthcare professional promptly if you are concerned.
